It was mid-term break for Luca this week so, to break up the monotony of being at home, Austin took the day off work and whisked Luca away for a Big Boy's Big Day Out on Thursday.
And of course numero uno on their hit-list was a visit to the Natural History Museum to visit the Dinosaurs!
Luca was acting all "Mr Cool" while they waited in the queue outside.
{although I don't think eating raisins is very Mr Cool-ish...?}
But once they got inside the "Mr Cool" facade was replaced immediately by a little boy in awe of the dinosaurs he saw before him.
He came face-to-face with some of his best-loved dinosaurs and lived to tell the very exciting tale to Mamma when he got home.
~Triceratops
~Tyrannosaurus Rex
~Stegosaurus
~Auntie Gretchie
Oh ho ho! I mean, they had lunch with Auntie Gretchie...
And an impromptu photo-shoot at the location of Auntie Gretchie's current illustration work on some hoarding off Tottenham Court Road, don' chew know.
{loving his wind-swept hair as a result of a shoulder-ride from Pappa. It's not normally this 'bouffy'...}
Although I had a lovely day at home being just the wee Boo-Boo and me, I must admit I was slightly jealous that Austin and Luca were having a day out together to see the dinosaurs as I have yet to see them myself!
Although I'm sure it won't be a problem convincing Luca to go and see them again - dinosaurs are ON THE BRAIN and, as far as I can tell, will be for a good few more years yet!
Awesome! My big boy would be in heaven if he got to see dinosaurs that close!
ReplyDeleteis he not the cutest? him & my aiden would have a blast together! xoxoxox
